Employment services for people who want assistance gaining competitive employment.

Many people with mental illness and other disabilities encounter barriers to seeking and holding employment. Supported employment services, and Individual Placement and Support (IPS) in particular, provide assistance for people to return to work. The IPS website provides information about the evidence-based practice of IPS supported employment. Information, tools and resources are listed according to the main stakeholders: families and consumers, program administrators, Vocational Rehabilitation counselors, and trainers. Opportunities for training and technical assistance led by our national trainers are also posted.
